How sustainable products get made

Our designers in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Dhaka are constantly on the lookout for new trends and sustainable materials. They regularly attend major fashion and fabric shows. We build sustainability, mass producibility, and distribution channels into every new collection right from the start – taking a holistic approach to the lifecycle of the products we create.

Pattern making

We create custom fits for all our customers in our in-house development department – producing European, American, and Asian cuts and size charts as required. Our CAD technicians digitally create all our size charts and send them directly to our sample room.

Fabric library

We maintain a fabric library in each office with all swatches from our suppliers. There's a core library of standard qualities we have developed, which are available at any time to be mass-produced at a low cost. Based on this, our seasonal library contains seasonal fabrics that change in 4 cycles per year. In addition, we offer an extended library, which includes various fabrics that are not in the standard portfolio but can be sourced on request.

Sample room

We operate our own sample room in Dhaka – a factory sample floor with three sewing lines. It is equipped with its own laboratory for sample and bulk quality testing for tensile strength, colorfastness, pilling, PH-value, material composition, and construction. It has its own pattern department for digital cuts. Combined with our vast Greige fabrics and accessories storage, our sample room can get even the most unusual designs ready to customers worldwide within just a few days.

We offer natural fibers and environmentally friendly materials in either organic or non-organic and certified or non-certified quality.

All the fibers we base our products on have been cultivated in an animal-friendly fashion, with a reduced ecological footprint. Of course, you can also talk to us about alternative plant- or animal-based fibers and recycled or semi-synthetic materials.

Our products are certified all along the way

If you find that more and more of your customers make conscious choices about which fabrics they put next to their skin and how they were produced, you can relax – we’ve got you covered.

We only source and sell materials and products that are certified by the most reputable organizations and subject this practice to regular audits by independent 3rd parties. Our CR team meticulously reviews all our supplier transaction certificates to ensure that the entire material flow is certified and transparent.

Fabrics are at the heart of what we do. It’s all about access: to the right quality, in the required quantity, at the right price. These are the critical parameters for making sure that you can offer your customers what they want, when they want to buy. That’s why we made building the right fabric supplier relationships a core competence of ours early on - we treat these partnerships like family. Before every season, we update our fabric libraries at all of our office locations.
